Therefore, in order to create the best representation of your pet, good photos are critical.
Here are some tips when choosing images:

Select photos that are focused, well lit (preferably with natural light) and good contrast.

Photos that show your pet's personality make better paintings (see examples on my Pet Portrait page).

Paintings of multiple pets are more successful if they are together in the original photo.
Don't worry, I can help you to find just the right images! I can also adjust the backgrounds within reason to eliminate distractions. You may access my current price list for pet portraits here. I do not currently accept human portrait commissions.
